Sarah Palin unleashes...Ivy Frye?

In answer to Ivy's tweet, I said this:

When I call Ivy a "rabid attack bunny" I'm actually being nice.  There are other words I could use:

--Ivy Frye was known as Palin's overpaid babysitter:

Another confidante of Ms. Palin's is Ms. Frye, 27. She worked as a receptionist for State Senator Lyda Green before she joined Ms. Palin's campaign for governor. Now Ms. Frye earns $68,664 as a special assistant to the governor. Her frequent interactions with Ms. Palin's children have prompted some lawmakers to refer to her as "the babysitter," a title that Ms. Frye disavows.

--Ivy Frye as Palin's assistant and in the spirit of "openness" and "transparency," wanted to find out how to make State of Alaska purchased Blackberrys default to private Yahoo Accounts (therefore, very difficult/impossible to access through records requests).  We know this because of an email to Anand Dubey, (Director of Enterprise Technology Services) from a record's request.  We also know as the result of the email court case by Andree McLeod:

"There's a reason the governor should be using her own official e-mail channels, because of security and encryption," the lawyer said. "She's running state business out of Yahoo?"

On March 17, minutes after peppering a state official about whether e-mails about state business contained on a personal BlackBerry could become public, senior Palin aide Ivy Frye addressed a message to both Palins and two other aides: "In sum, it's just as I thought -- questions of confidentiality are still unanswered by law."

--Ivy Frye was the person who (again in the spirit of "openness" and "transparency") tried to intimidate blogger Ak Syrin (Sherry Whitstine):

And four months ago, a Wasilla blogger, Sherry Whitstine, who chronicles the governor's career with an astringent eye, answered her phone to hear an assistant to the governor on the line, she said.

"You should be ashamed!" Ivy Frye, the assistant, told her. "Stop blogging. Stop blogging right now!"

--Ivy Frye has demonstrated that she is willing to "give her all" for Sarah Palin.  It appears from emails discovered between the two in records requests, that she was having a relationship with Alaska Associated Press writer, Steve Quinn.  

He (Steve Quinn) is reportedly involved with one of her assistants, aka 'state babysitter' Ivy Frye. There are documented emails between the two that were released as part of the Troopergate investigation. I believe more were redacted. The AP needs to get Steve Quinn out of Alaska if it wants to restore it's reputation as an unbiased news source.

Soon after the revelation, Ivy was moved out of her job with Palin and Steve Quinn was whisked away from his AP job in Alaska.

--Ivy Frye is a lot like Palin in that she changes jobs like she changes clothes:

According to legislative sources, the governor has pardoned both Frank Bailey and Ivy Frye and plans on transferring them out of the governor's office over to the Alaska Industrial Development Export Authority (AIDEA).

Both Bailey and Frye have figured large in the operations of the governor's office and both have created more baggage for this administration than Louis Vittone.

Frye has held no fewer than four different positions since she was hired after helping on Palin's campaign back in 2006. Frye was originally in charge of Board's & Commissions until she made a mess out of that job and then she was transferred to the Department of Administration. That job lasted until the commissioner couldn't handle it anymore after Frye reportedly told her that she only reports to the governor. Then, Frye was moved into a position entitled special assistant to the governor, where among other things, Frye worked on ways to get around public disclosure laws by using her Blackberry.

I'd sure like to read her SarahPAC job description!

None of that ever happened...but when has that bothered a Palinista?!
